The SprintKart Series opened up the 2007 at the Rolla Motor Speedway on
January 1st. It took time to get the track run in and in good shape to race
but once the racing started it was well worth it. With two features planned for the day the crowd knew they
were in for some great racing. The drivers didn't waste time
in showing off the exciting racing of the Sprint Kart Series as they battled back
and forth all day long. With two features planned for the day the crowd knew they
were in for some great racing. The first feature of the year saw Rob Hauck in
the #28 Rolla Auto Salvage car come out on top. John "Porkchop" Douglas won the
second feature in his Douglas Construction #8. Overall it was a great way to
start out the 2007 season for the SprintKarts.
